CACI is searching for an accomplished, dynamic, visionary Principle Solutions Architect to join our Capture team in Reston, VA. Solution Architects (SA) are a vital part of the Capture process. If you have a technical background, have worked as a lead SA on large Fed/Civ Captures, are detail-oriented, passionate about technology, and enjoy collaborative environments, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Get to Do:
Conceptualize, develop, communicate, and propose solutions that drive growth through Bid & Proposal efforts, leading to top and bottom-line results.
Lead a team of Business Development, Capture, Proposal, and Technical SMEs in the capture solutioning process from customer shaping through proposal submission, addressing all RFP requirements.
Design solutions involving hardware, software, networking, cloud architectures, communications, cyber, services, or other government-specified engineering knowledge to support influential clients.
Define total systems design, develop system element architecture, and establish operational concepts in collaboration with senior leaders.
Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future systems, providing technical direction for system architecture implementation.
Lead and mentor proposal team members, translating solutions into proposal material following the Shipley process.
Guide, mentor, and train less experienced team members, and lead solution and proposal reviews to strengthen solutions.
Work with key clients to solve critical needs, defining complex solutions encompassing IT and non-IT disciplines.
Qualifications:
12+ years of solution development or related experience as a solution architect with a federal government contractor.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
Experience developing and leading solutions for business pursuits starting at $100M TCV.
Strong knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in the Federal Government space, including Cloud, Data Analytics, AI/ML, RPA, and software development methodologies.
Experience working directly with clients to assess needs and determine pain points.
Experience leading the development of proposal volumes, preferably using the Shipley process; FedSim experience is a bonus.
Proven ability to operate within cross-functional teams.
Must be clearable; an active Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $137,400 - $302,300, influenced by location, experience, skills, and other factors. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off.
