What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide leadership to engineering teams across multiple areas and own complete solutions throughout their life cycle
- Collaborate with product managers and team members to develop enterprise-class business applications
- Ensure quality, usability, and performance of software solutions
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to enhance engineering quality
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices to improve processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of professional software development experience within a Java framework
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design of software systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
- Fluency in at least two modern programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts and cloud architecture
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools and performance assessments
- Experience with micro-services oriented architecture and REST APIs
- Understanding of security protocols and products, such as Active Directory and OAuth
