Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying infrastructure software and services for HPC systems in a Linux-based environment
• Automating system processes using Bash and Python scripting
• Writing robust, scalable software solutions using Python, Rust, or similar languages
• Creating and managing containerized applications with tools like Docker, PodMan, or containerd
• Leveraging Ansible to orchestrate deployments across distributed environments
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving system and software issues in live operational environments
• Implementing CI/CD practices using tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
• Managing source code through Git and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Participating in agile team ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
• Recommending and integrating new technologies and best practices for continual process and performance improvement
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Education & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline + 5 years of relevant SWE experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of relevant SWE experience
• OR 9 years of relevant SWE experience with no degree requirement

Required Skills:

• Proficiency using the Linux command line interface (CLI)
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation
• Development experience in Python, Rust, or similar languages in a Linux ecosystem
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, PodMan, or containerd
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for deployment automation
• Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging software issues in live systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins
• Source control experience using Git
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox
• Familiarity with Splunk or similar observability platforms
• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions like Keycloak
• Familiarity with secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault
• Experience using the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
  

Compensation Range: $179,000.00 - $237,000.00

• The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility
