We are seeking a Proposal Solution Architect to join our Growth Team to support our proposal efforts for all lines of business. The Proposal Solutions Architect will be responsible for the integration of technical solutions into new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be a driver of growth in IW’s portfolio, is expected to work within a dynamic team environment, and will be part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative Growth organization. This position will organize Client Operations SMEs with requisite knowledge to provide substantive, compliant, and compelling proposal solutions for opportunities that are within any of our five pillars.

Location & Travel: This can be a remote role, but the candidate is expected to travel to Reston, VA as needed (roughly once a month) and will be required to attend client meetings as needed.
Security Clearance: The Proposal Solutions Architect must be a United States Citizen and be eligible for a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
Adherence to all customer site protocols is mandatory for employees.
Responsibilities
Pre-RFP / Capture Support:

• Participate in win strategy sessions with BD leads
• Develop initial solution architectures and differentiators
• Shape RFI, white paper, and tech exchange narratives
  

Proposal Development

• Lead creation of Technical Volume content, solution narratives, and compliance matrices
• Develop and refine solution graphics (CONOPS, architectures, timelines, etc.)
• Translate SME input into proposal-ready content that addresses evaluation criteria
  

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work with pricing to ensure alignment between solution and cost
• Support color team reviews and final proposal production
• Drive reuse of content and frameworks across vehicles and customers
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8-12 years of of experience in proposal solutioning, preferably for defense and homeland security agencies.
• Deep understanding of zero trust, secure enclaves, tactical communications, cyber risk management, and AI/ML integration in mission contexts
• Proven success supporting technical volumes for proposals submitted under OASIS+, RS3, SeaPort-NxG, and/or MAS/HACS
• Skilled in developing visual solution elements using tools like PowerPoint, and Visio
• Experience working on fast-turn task orders, including oral proposals and hybrid written/oral formats
