Apogee is actively seeking a full-time Technical SME supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I).
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify opportunities and technological capabilities across the NC3 Enterprise, interface with industry, DoD mission partners, and academia, providing recommendations through reports, papers, and briefings.
- Provide high-level radio frequency communication systems subject matter expertise, including terrestrial and satellite communication systems and related technologies.
- Apply RF principles, methods, and expertise for systems analysis and effective RF implementation within operational environments.
- Prepare technical reports, studies, and presentations related to engineering and threat impact assessments for RF systems.
- Evaluate new technologies and innovations to develop technical recommendations supporting NC3 requirements.
- Provide RF technical expertise on signal propagation, modeling, simulation, testing, and system development.
Qualifications
- US citizenship required; must have a minimum of TS clearance, ability to obtain SCI clearance.
- Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience providing high-level subject matter expertise, technical analysis, and system design and integration.
Additional Information
- Location: Fort Meade, onsite 5 days/week.
- Salary: USD $185,000 - $220,000 per year.
