Base pay range

$148,850.00/yr - $269,075.00/yr

Description

Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer in our National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) . Our team specializes in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform or review technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with IA standards.
  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate IA and security systems for networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Build IA into operational systems.
  • Assist architects and developers in implementing security features aligned with agency policies.
  • Support security architecture development.
  • Enforce trusted relations among external systems.
  • Assess and mitigate security threats throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Contribute to security planning, risk analysis, certification, and awareness activities.
  • Review C&A documentation for completeness and compliance.

Clearance Required

Minimum TS/SCI with ability to obtain Polygraph.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field with 15+ years of experience as an ISSE or Network Engineer.
  • CASP or CISSP certification required.
  • CISSP-ISSEP DoD 8570 baseline certification required for Level III.
  • Strong writing skills and experience in security requirements and gap analysis.
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800 Series, CNSSI 1253, and DoD 8500.
  • Experience with network protocols and architectures.
