We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team!

Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle development, deployment, and operations & maintenance (O&M) of a mission-critical Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) system operating in a large-scale Linux environment. This role requires a strong foundation in backend development, Linux systems, and operational best practices.

Position Required Skills

  • Experience with Linux system administration, CLI, and Bash scripting
  • Recent software development experience using Python and Java
  • Experience with end-to-end data handling, including parsing, integration, and distributed processing using Apache NiFi for real-time and batch workflows
  • Experience developing Messaging Frameworks such as ITX (ActiveMQ)
  • Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
  • Experience with metrics and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
  • Experience with structured and semi-structured data formats, including JSON, XML, CSV, TCLD, ASDF, and Parquet, for data parsing and transformation tasks
  • Experience with Git for source code management

Position Desired Skills

  • Experience with Atlassian tools including Confluence and Jira
  • Experience with Big Data streaming platforms like Spark
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd
  • Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes or Docker Compose orchestration

Qualifications

An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range is $200K - $275K, with factors such as experience, skills, location, and certifications influencing final salary.
