The Robotics Digital Solutions & Technologies builds and assists systems and processes for planning, manufacturing, Digital operations at Amazon Robotics.
We are seeking an experienced Systems Development Manager with strong knowledge of Supply Chain Planning(SCP) and Enterprise Resource Planning systems to lead the development and implementation of SCP solutions across Amazon Robotic's global operations. This role will be responsible for managing complex technical programs, leading a high-performing engineering team constituting of SysDEs and SDEs, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our SCP systems and purpose-built software solutions. They will be a highly visible leader that will own the delivery of a multi-year program vision. They will work with senior product and engineering leaders to define strategy and requirements. They will oversee design, and execution of technical solutions that scale globally. Managing numerous complex systems and organizations, they will be responsible to lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting technical direction and fostering career growth, drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for large-scale SCP implementations, partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions, manage multiple concurrent projects across different business units and geographies, ensure operational excellence through monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SCP systems, drive best practices in software development, testing, and deployment, develop and maintain roadmaps for system enhancements and migrations, manage relationships with external vendors and internal partners.
Leadership skills required are demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically, strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, experience in managing stakeholder relationships at senior levels , proven track record of mentoring and developing technical talent, Ability to influence without direct authority, strong business acumen and customer-first mindset.

Key job responsibilities
The Successful Candidate Is Able To
- Lead and mentor a team of system and software development engineers, setting technical direction and fostering career growth
- Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for SCP implementations involving purpose-built integration and bolt-on software solutions
- Deep expertise in Supply Chain Management and planning concepts in the hi-tech manufacturing and supply chain industry
- Experience with an industry leading SCP system like Kinaxis (preferred), Blue Yonder, SAP IBP or others
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across different business units and geographies
- Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, maintenance, automated end to end testing and continuous improvement of SCP systems
- Drive best practices in systems and software development, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for system enhancements and migrations
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal partners
- Managing Application managed services
- Deliver to strategic initiatives to enhance our SCP systems

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
- 7+ years of SCP or Enterprise software implementation experience
- 5+ years of experience managing SCP/Enterprise software teams
- Strong experience with SCP systems (Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP amongst others)
- Track record of delivering large-scale SCP implementation projects
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle
- Strong Experience with managing Application managed services
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience with Kinaxis Maestro implementations
- Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns and micro-services
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong background in data modeling and integration
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
