The Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) seeks a Lead to manage a distributed team supporting spacecraft operations, including launch and early orbit activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate high-tempo spacecraft operations, including launch and on-orbit activities.
• Manage program performance, risk, issues, and stakeholder relationships.
• Develop and report on performance metrics, manage budgets, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Support program reviews, technical communications, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee team management, including guidance and task execution.
• Support agile development cycles and operational planning.
• Travel (~10%) and shift work (~20%) are required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• 12+ years of related experience (varies with education level).
• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with on-orbit mission operations and satellite system lifecycle.
• Strong technical communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with satellite mission planning, IPT leadership, fleet management, and automation systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Teams, and change management processes.

Additional Details
