As a Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise in AI, machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and develop next-generation analytics engines and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to define technical problems and hypotheses, develop efficient analytical models, and incorporate these into data products and tools. Your role will also involve driving strategic initiatives by applying your analytical skills to ensure business value and effectively communicate results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners to develop innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.
  • Experiment with, evaluate, and create generative AI products for tasks such as data extraction and document summarization.
  • Apply fine-tuning and advanced retrieval methods to enhance generative AI model performance.
  • Assess model performance and implement necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, prompt engineers, and product owners to develop AI products.
  • Engineer features by integrating internal and external data sources creatively.
  • Share passion for Data Science, developing long-term processes, frameworks, tools, and standards.
  • Engage with the broader community through conferences and events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with GenAI Data Science.
  • Proficiency in Python, managing dependencies, virtual environments, and version control with Git.
  • Experience with sequential algorithms like LSTM, RNN, transformers.
  • Familiarity with Bedrock, JumpStart, HuggingFace.
  • Understanding of AI ethical considerations, including red-teaming.
  • Expertise in supervised, unsupervised, deep, and transfer learning.
  • Experience with generative algorithms such as GANs, VAEs, and pre-trained models like LLaMa, SAM.
  • Proven ability to develop models from inception to deployment.
