We’re seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help scale and enhance the intelligence behind a leading consumer-facing platform. In this role, you’ll build and deploy ML-powered features that elevate user experiences through smarter search, recommendations, and personalization systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and apply cutting-edge machine learning techniques to real-world challenges at scale.
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product managers to design and improve algorithms for search, ranking, personalization, and content recommendations.
- Build scalable and maintainable machine learning pipelines and infrastructure.
- Research and implement advanced techniques in natural language processing (NLP), retrieval, and deep learning.
- Enhance system performance through robust product and user embeddings and continuous optimization of ML services.
- Uphold software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, reproducibility, and code reviews) across the machine learning lifecycle.
- Contribute to defining internal standards and best practices for productionizing ML models.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying ML models in production.
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Proficient with ML frameworks and tools such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Experience using Git and collaborating through GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with building recommender systems, ranking models, or user-facing search features.
- Comfortable developing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and working with containerized services (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
