Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an experienced ITS / Intelligent Mobility Services Market Lead to join our mobility technologies and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) team in Washington. This role will work alongside senior leaders, managers, and engineers to lead strategies for programs and projects serving roadway, transit, ports, and freight clients, leveraging emerging technologies and digital mobility infrastructure. The IMS Market Lead will utilize Arcadis' strong reputation to support the growth of practice, opportunities, and services in the Transportation Market.
This is a hybrid position, requiring travel for in-person meetings.
The IMS Market Lead will sit within the Global Mobility Business Area, partnering globally to design connected, sustainable solutions addressing urbanization, climate change, and digitization trends to meet evolving demands.
Role accountabilities:
- Develop and achieve local performance targets including project financials, staff growth, and revenue growth.
- Assist pursuit leaders with strategy development and client relationship enhancement.
- Lead growth initiatives with local and state agencies, maintaining client relationships and tracking project pursuits.
- Oversee operational performance, project financials, workload, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate on project delivery, defining schedules and methodologies for ITS projects.
- Champion internal initiatives related to staff growth, strategic positioning, and operations.
- Develop local team members and work with recruiting to meet project needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:- 10+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Transportation, or similar
- PE license in WA
- U.S. Driver’s License
- Experience with WSDOT or Sound Transit standards and tools
- Experience in TSMO, ITS Design, or Traffic Operations
- Master’s in Transportation Engineering or Business
- Experience managing large projects

Full-time and part-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid leave, holidays, and more. Salary range: $157,227-$275,148, based on experience and location.
