Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid-level systems administrator to support the DevOps team. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with the development team, capability providers, and mission customers to migrate existing applications and services from legacy hardware to enterprise compute frameworks.

Requirements

Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five (5) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Alternatively, five (5) years of additional systems administration experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills:

• Proven knowledge and experience with Linux.
• Bash scripting experience.
• Experience designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and services.
• Ability to collaborate with software development teams to deploy, test, monitor, and operate customer applications and services.
• Experience working with Information System Security Engineers and Officers (ISSE/O) to conduct patching and configuration changes to maintain System Security Plans (SSP).

Desired Skills:

• VMware, NetApp, Puppet, Networking.
• Kubernetes, Cloud frameworks, and containerization.

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (dependent on experience).
• Up to 20% 401k contribution (no matching required, vested from day 1).
• Above-market hourly rates.
