The IMG Football team is recruiting for a role to grow the Football business in the AMERICAS, working collaboratively with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Develop the Americas strategy with leadership teams in Football, Commercial, and Strategy
- Identify new revenue opportunities through traditional and non-traditional routes
- Grow football-related revenues in the region
- Collaborate with VP, Football MENA, & VP, Football Europe & Africa to manage relationships with local leagues, federations, and confederations
- Manage partner retention and revenues
- Lead high-value partnership delivery
- Identify rights-holders where IMG can add value
- Develop and manage strategic objectives to advance IMG Media’s business in the region
- Lead regional and international projects impacting the business
- Coordinate with global Sports Management team for best client servicing practices
- Work with Production and Digital to identify beneficial rights-holders
- Coordinate with Finance and Legal on acquisitions and negotiations
- Oversee client announcement processes
- Perform other duties as required
Knowledge and Experience
- Deep cultural and situational awareness
- Recognized thought leader with 15+ years in media industry
- Expertise in strategy, valuation, negotiation, and distribution of live sports media rights
- Experience leading negotiations and pricing models globally
- Knowledge of traditional and digital media, and media business scaling
- Experience in sports marketing ecosystem
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
