Summary
The VP of Investment Accounting oversees the comprehensive reporting of the company’s investment accounting for multiple entities on a US Statutory and GAAP basis across various asset classes. This role involves leading and mentoring the investment accounting team, driving process improvements, and providing strategic investment insights to senior leadership and the board. The position manages relationships with outsourced investment accounting providers, ensuring effective collaboration, issue resolution, and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of investment accounting experience; 5+ years of leadership experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of US statutory and GAAP investment accounting principles, investment products, and insurance industry regulations
• Experience managing outsourced or third-party provider relationships
  
  

Location & Compensation
Norwalk, CT – hybrid work environment. 3 days per week in the office. Compensation depends on experience gravitating to the $185,000 - $215,000 range plus bonus plus LTI.
