KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, train, and deploy high-performance computer vision models for our warehouse picking stations.
- Serve as a key technical point of contact for our teams in Norway, helping to integrate AI/ML solutions into our products.
- Implement and refine ML models for projects including robot routing and analytics platforms.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely execution from initial concept through to deployment.
- Maintain clear communication on project status and technical findings with stakeholders, including your manager in a different time zone and global Research and Development organization.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience building and deploying machine learning systems.
- Strong experience in Computer Vision, Python, SQL, and a major deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Proven experience using a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for model training or deployment.
- Experience with the engineering best practices required to build and maintain production-level ML systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Familiarity with broader machine learning concepts or quantitative databases is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is a requirement.
- A pragmatic and hands-on problem solver, focused on execution.
- A strong collaborator and clear communicator.
- Structured, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Solution-oriented with a good attention to detail.
- Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate collaboration across international time zones.
