Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

G&E Partners are currently working with one of the largest ENR ranked GCs in Texas seeking a VP of Estimating to join them in their upcoming growth efforts.

The role is with a GC who are aggressively expanding their Dallas division after establishing a strong presence both state and nationwide. Their growth plans make this role a crucial hire for them as the ability to bid and win work will only aid their growth plans.

Roles and Responsibilities(Not Exhaustive):

  • Lead Estimating Operations : Oversee all estimating activities across the company, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely bid preparation for diverse construction projects.
  • Strategic Bid Planning : Develop and implement bid strategies that align with company goals, market conditions, and client needs, focusing on win rates and profitability.
  • Team Management & Development : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of estimators, ensuring consistent training, process adherence, and professional growth.
  • Risk Assessment & Cost Control : Evaluate project risks, material and labour costs, and subcontractor pricing to ensure comprehensive, well-analysed estimates and cost certainty.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with executives, project managers, clients, and preconstruction teams to ensure clear communication, seamless project hand-offs, and strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years at the executive project leadership level.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects.
  • Experience managing client relationships.
  • Long-term tenure with reputable General Contractors (5+ years at a single firm preferred).
  • Must be based in or open to relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex; regional travel required.
