Meet The Team
The Sensor Substrates group within the Research and Development (R&D) organization designs and develops next-generation sensor electrodes and substrates, which form the foundation for biosensor design and development. These innovations significantly impact the accuracy, reliability, and robustness of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems. The team also leads the efforts to sustain the current sensor wire design used in Dexcom’s industry-leading CGM products.
As the leader of the Sensor Substrates team, the Senior Manager will oversee the team to deliver scalable new sensor substrate and electrode designs for both planar and wire-based products. The Senior Manager will collaborate with various functional areas within R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Affairs to facilitate the continuous improvement of existing products and define the specifications and requirements for future generations of sensor substrates and electrodes in the R&D pipeline. The contributions will advance diabetes treatment and support Dexcom’s mission to “empower people to take control of their health.”
