Your Impact at Lila
We’re seeking a Lead Robotics Engineer – Integration to drive the seamless fusion of mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software components across Lila’s robotic platforms. In this critical role, you’ll lead the integration strategy and execution—bridging across disciplines to ensure our systems are intelligent, robust, and ready for the real world.
What You'll Be Building

  • Architect and lead cross-domain robotic system integration
  • Oversee robot bring-up, validation, and tuning
  • Collaborate across AI, perception, controls, and hardware
  • Build and maintain simulation and physical test frameworks
  • Develop calibration, diagnostics, and update infrastructure
  • Resolve system-level failures through root cause analysis
  • Mentor engineers and shape platform integration practices
  • Contribute to architecture reviews and technical roadmapping
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • B.S, M.S, or PhD in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in robotic system development and integration
  • Deep knowledge of robotic subsystems and cross-functional debugging
  • Experience with mobile robots, HRI, or manipulation
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Strong hardware bring-up and embedded systems skills
