Base pay range
$230,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Impactful Business Partnering
- Serve as a trusted business partner for Divisional Finance Leaders, Account Directors, Division President, and Solutions teams, proactively providing advice and decision support on business strategy, investment options, and overall financial and operational optimization opportunities throughout the Division.
- Partner with Division President to lead quarterly reviews with Work Dynamics leadership team to provide insights on the state of the business and the strategic outlook.
- Provide proactive analysis and commentary on business performance that demonstrates a strong understanding of the industry and end-market segments. Summarize key conclusions and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Provide guidance related to contracting commercial models, pricing, and operational processes of the business; Support new business initiatives by providing ideas on innovative customer solutions and presenting JLL’s value to potential customers.
- Manage the commercial aspects of the portfolio including margin improvement opportunities, contractual risk tracking, balance sheet controls, and client dispute resolution.
- Ensure all financial practices comply with statutory regulations and evolving controls to support Work Dynamics SOC1 attestations.
- Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet through regular reviews and addressing weaknesses.
- Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, managing outsourced functions as needed.
- Actively manage working capital, focusing on AR balances, to meet targets.
- Identify control weaknesses and implement measures to mitigate risks, including managing accounts lifecycle.
- Collaborate with regional and group teams to improve efficiency and drive continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate with finance leaders and teams to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, providing insightful analysis to drive financial performance.
- Manage actual vs. budget analyses monthly, challenging teams to meet revenue and control cost base for sustainable growth.
- Work with HR to assess staffing needs and align talent management priorities such as performance reviews and succession planning.
- Establish career paths for finance staff, supporting growth and development.
- Manage resources to support hiring, transformation, diversity, and other initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, learning environment among finance teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant business experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and CPA preferred.
- Experience with audit, SOX, and SOC1 compliance.
- 7+ years supervisory experience, including staff training and evaluation.
- Experience managing client-facing finance teams and balancing client needs with internal policies.
- System implementation and project management experience.
- Proven ability to prepare financial statements and oversee complex accounting processes.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a detailed approach to tasks.
- Positive attitude, responsiveness, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading finance in a matrix environment and influencing outcomes.
