The position involves leading our Durable/Perishable Manufacturing Tooling and Chemical Management organization within Operational Excellence (OpX), focusing on US-based Module Centers & Operations (MC&O) tooling standards, procurement, compliance, and chemical info management across all US sites.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience in developing long-term strategies (>3 years), improving processes, reducing tooling timelines, enabling Industry 4.0 technologies, and cost optimization. Strong communication and influence skills, especially with executive leadership, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead growth and challenge management, supporting tooling requirements across dispersed teams.
  2. Utilize SAP and related tools to manage tooling fulfillment.
  3. Champion process improvements to reduce lead times, costs, and maintain quality and compliance.
  4. Standardize practices across MC&O for organizational effectiveness and cost competitiveness.
  5. Manage team development, mentorship, outsourcing, and strategic planning.
  6. Foster positive relationships with cross-functional colleagues and external OEMs.
  7. Support a customer-centric culture with trust and collaboration.
  8. Partner with Operations to deliver tooling solutions efficiently.
  9. Lead or participate in Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 12 years relevant experience, or Master’s + 10 years.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Formal leadership experience.
  • Expected travel: 15-20%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Executive communication skills.
  • Experience in matrix environments and manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Financial analysis and process transformation experience.

Additional Information:

This role is onsite, with a salary range of $147,000 to $295,000. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, flexible schedules, and incentives. Application window closes in approximately 40 days.
