Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

As a Senior Manager you are expected to lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You serve as a strategic advisor, leveraging your specialized knowledge and technical acumen of industry-leading business trends, the firm’s client service offerings, and professional industry networks to deliver quality results to clients and provide strategic input into the firm’s business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead large-scale projects to achieve successful outcomes
- Innovate and refine processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain exceptional standards of operational excellence in every activity
- Interact with clients at a senior level to drive project success
- Serve as a strategic advisor, leveraging specialized knowledge and industry trends
- Provide strategic input into the firm’s business strategies
- Develop and coach top-performing teams to solve complex problems
- Utilize technical acumen to deliver quality results to clients
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- In-depth abilities in compliance and consulting for mutual funds
- Knowledge around Form 1120-RIC and associated requirements
- Identifying and addressing client needs
- Actively participating in client discussions
- Communicating a broad range of Firm services
- Creating a positive team environment
- Providing candid, meaningful feedback
- Keeping leadership informed of progress

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
