Job Title: Vice President, QA Engineering

Job Duties:

  1. Function as a senior quality assurance engineer driving development activities for the firm's products and platforms.
  2. Oversee the delivery of quality software and services by enabling early identification of quality gaps with low touch controls across the firm.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to define and document performance testing goals and requirements.
  4. Create performance test strategies and test plans based on project requirements and design documents.
  5. Configure and set up the test environment, including infrastructure, software, and testing tools.
  6. Oversee the execution of performance tests, monitor system resources, collect performance metrics, and analyze test results.
  7. Drive the creation of performance test reports with detailed analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  8. Collaborate with the development team to track, investigate, and resolve performance-related defects.
  9. Proactively monitor application performance across environments, analyze trends, and identify anomalies.
  10. Assign tasks to team members, review work products, and provide guidance and support.
  11. Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools based on industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field, with three (3) years of relevant experience, OR
  2. Bachelor's degree in the same fields, with five (5) years of relevant experience.
  3. Experience must include developing and revising QA procedures, testing web browsers and applications, and working with tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Microsoft SQL, Java, JavaScript, Protractor, or Mocha.
  4. Experience in developing and customizing test scripts, creating use cases, participating in automation code reviews, and working with automation frameworks like UFT, Selenium, and API automation with Rest Assured, Java, and Postman.

Salary:

Annual base salary for this New York-based position is $205,000.
