Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management or similar roles within a technical or engineering environment.
  • 8 years of networking work experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of customer-facing experience, interfacing with executive stakeholders, and driving technical implementation or transformation programs.
  • Experience collaborating across business units and translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Experience communicating with executives and management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Knowledge of Network or Cloud operations, capacity planning, and product release management. Proficient in networking technologies, security, regulations, network services architectures, and content delivery networks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

About The Job

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex projects, work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate across teams. You will help develop networking technologies that connect the world through Google’s global WAN infrastructure, supporting Google Cloud, products, and CDN infrastructure.

The US base salary range for this full-time role is $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary specifics depend on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Define account strategies and build delivery plans aligned with customer goals.
  • Conduct business reviews emphasizing customer outcomes and progress.
  • Manage customer experience, communicate progress, and serve as an escalation point.
  • Advocate for customer needs and raise awareness of Google’s product portfolio.
  • Monitor account health via surveys to improve satisfaction.
