My client, a leading national 100% Employee-Owned General Contractor, is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead their growing commercial infrastructure divisionin California. With $2 billion in commercial projects confirmed and more in the pipeline, this is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing leadership team and oversee some of the most high-profile projects in the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide executive oversight for multiple large-scale commercial projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Lead and mentor senior project teams, fostering operational excellence and a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
- Drive business growth in the commercial sector through strategic client relationships and market leadership.
- Oversee financial performance, project delivery, and client satisfaction across the division.
- Represent the company at key client meetings, industry events, and high-value contract negotiations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years’ progressive construction leadership, with significant executive-level experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong business acumen, client relationship skills, and ability to manage complex, multi-million-dollar programs.
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee projects and maintain key relationships.
