PMO Operations Manager, SAP Landscape Modernization

Description

The SAP Global PMO Manager will be responsible for leading the IS&T SAP Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO oversees activities essential to the smooth functioning of the global SAP/SCI organization, including:

  • Tracking and reporting on department budgets (capital and expense)
  • Owning the annual capital planning process
  • Leading procure-to-pay processes
  • Serving as the main contact for vendor statements of work, purchase requests, orders, and invoices
  • Developing organizational reporting and tracking tools such as portfolio management systems, budget trackers, and project status reports
  • Leading PMO-related projects and managing contractors
  • Maintaining organizational websites, documentation, and SOW templates
  • Monitoring enterprise contracts with SAP, including consulting spend and service consumption
  • Supporting SAP leadership with communications on projects, metrics, and strategic initiatives
  • Publishing monthly project and support metrics
  • Managing vendor relationships and the Vendor Management Office (VMO)
  • Leading and developing a team of direct reports
  • Assisting with long-term capacity and skill-set planning
  • Ensuring compliance with SAP Project Lifecycle methodology
  • Driving process improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 8+ years in SAP project/program management, SAP implementation, or SAP end-user experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and facilitation
  • Strong project management skills: planning, setting realistic timelines, documentation, follow-up, assertiveness, and diplomacy
  • Ability to handle multiple activities and prioritize effectively
  • Experience coaching and providing constructive feedback
  • Proficiency with Reporting and Analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)
  • 10+ years of project planning experience with SAP or ERP end-user roles
  • Experience with SAP Program Management Office responsibilities
  • Strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel proficiency
  • Proficiency with Pages or Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency with Keynote or PowerPoint
  • Experience with database software such as FileMaker or Microsoft Access
At Apple, the base pay range for this role is $208,400 to $313,500, depending on skills, experience, and location. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits such as medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursements, and may be eligible for bonuses or relocation assistance.
