What You Will Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of a crucial domain in our national school launch strategy, whether it be regulatory approvals, campus development, onboarding systems, or financial operations.
  • Driving cross-functional projects with full authority and responsibility, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Developing and refining operational playbooks from scratch and testing them under real-world conditions.
  • Partnering directly with founders, key stakeholders, and school staff to build efficient, launch-ready infrastructure.
  • Leveraging AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and speed.

  • Acting as a consultant or advisor—this role demands direct action and ownership.
  • Navigating bureaucratic layers—your decisions will be made with direct access to leadership.
  • Focusing on a single market—your scope will span multiple regions and initiatives.

Vice President Operations Key Responsibilities
Drive the successful execution of a critical operational component of 2HL's nationwide school expansion, ensuring rapid, effective, and scalable outcomes.
Basic Requirements
Join us if you possess the agility, precision, and strategic mindset to turn plans into reality at record speed. You bring:
  • A minimum of 3 years at a leading strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
  • A proven record of leading cross-functional operations in dynamic and uncertain environments.
  • Expertise in one or more areas: regulatory processes, site development, onboarding systems, or large-scale financial operations.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong bias for action and execution, capable of independently driving initiatives.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and flexibility to travel approximately one week per month.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to optimize workflows and expedite results.
Nice-to-have Requirements
Experience in educational sector operations or private equity-backed organizations.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
