Location: While this position is remote/virtual, you must be open to traveling up to 50% for client meetings and reside in the USA. Preferred locations include Atlanta or Dallas.
DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Industry Managing Partner to drive growth across our Consulting & Engineering Services portfolio—including Applications, Data, and AI—for the Transportation, Rail, and Logistics sectors in the U.S. This senior role requires deep industry expertise, strong client advisory skills, and a proven track record of leading digital transformation across freight and passenger railroads, logistics providers, and multimodal operators.
As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will shape digital agendas, connect emerging technologies to business outcomes, and represent DXC at the highest levels.
• Join DXC’s Global Travel & Transportation team, reporting to the Global Industry Lead, with access to an extensive network of knowledge, insights, and expert support.
• Play a key role in shaping DXC’s Transportation industry offerings and propositions.
• Focus on the Americas region while leveraging DXC’s global delivery experience, proven case studies, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with regional industry leaders and Sales teams to co-develop and activate new market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Industry Strategy & Expertise: Align DXC solutions to client imperatives—such as fleet modernization, supply chain optimization, embedded systems, and digital operations—using your deep domain knowledge.
- Growth & Sales Leadership: Drive pipeline creation and new revenue by converting market opportunities into tangible outcomes through executive presence, industry credibility, and consultative selling.
- Executive Engagement: Build and sustain trusted relationships with C-level decision-makers, positioning DXC as a long-term digital transformation partner.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and execute industry-specific strategies focused on business value and measurable impact.
- Thought Leadership: Represent DXC at industry forums, shaping the market narrative and elevating our brand.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with global delivery, sales, and solution teams to co-create scalable offerings and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay on top of emerging technologies—AI, digital twins, IoT, advanced analytics—to guide solution development and client conversations.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- 8–10 years of experience working with Transportation, Rail, or Logistics clients—either from within the industry or a technology consulting/services firm—with expertise in Consulting, Applications, Data, and AI.
- A proven, referenceable track record of driving growth and delivering measurable outcomes through repeatable, scalable solutions.
- Deep domain knowledge of the Transportation & Logistics sector, including its strategic, operational, and technology challenges.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
