We’re seeking an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Engineer 3 to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD!
Active TS/SCI w/ poly security clearance required.
Position Description:
The AI/ML Engineer 3 designs, creates, tests, and productizes AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges. They develop models capable of learning and making predictions based on business logic to meet customer requirements. The engineer should be proficient in model architecture, data pipeline interaction, and metrics application, interpretation, and presentation. Familiarity with application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance is essential. The engineer will design scalable solutions through training, retraining, deploying, monitoring, and improving models based on feedback. They may lead geographically diverse teams and serve as a primary point of contact for AI-related matters, requiring exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Expertise in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, and C is required.
Requirements:
- 10 years experience deploying machine learning algorithms. A Master’s or Ph.D. in advanced math, AI, data science, computer science, or deep learning from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, 7 additional years of relevant machine learning experience can substitute for a Master’s degree.
- Proven abilities in software engineering and AI/ML model testing and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and C.

Pay Range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and other factors, with an estimated range of $250,000 to $260,000.
