About the Position:
Our client, a premier national law firm, has an active need for a patent/IP litigation attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. This practice represents start-up businesses, individual innovators, and well-established companies throughout the U.S. with patent, trademark, copyright, and IP litigation matters.

Responsibilities:
· Handle all aspects of patent/IP litigation, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking/defending depositions, writing dispositive motions, and trial preparation

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of patent litigation experience
· Background in electrical or mechanical engineering, computer science, life sciences (or a related field) preferred
· Experience with PTAB proceedings is a plus, as is experience with trade secret and trademark litigation
· USPTO admission preferred

Location:
Chicago, IL

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $175,000 – $330,000.
