Job Description

The F & I Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the dealership meets its sales and gross profit goals, and for generating additional revenue through selling finance and insurance products to customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project vehicle requirements for the upcoming 90 days
  • Forecast sales, gross profit, and departmental profits
  • Sell financing, extended warranties, and aftermarket products
  • Maintain relationships with finance sources
  • Handle paperwork and obtain approvals for finance deals
  • Conduct daily meetings with sales staff to review results and strategies
  • Lead sales meetings and coordinate pre-delivery with service
  • Train sales staff on finance products
  • Provide rate quotations and verify paperwork accuracy
  • Log sales income, verify insurance, and handle deposits and trade payoffs
  • Follow safety policies and report incidents
  • Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, finance experience, good communication skills, and authorization to work in the USA. Knowledge of dealership finance procedures, sales experience, and computer skills are preferred.
