Felix Construction Company is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to ensure the accessibility and traceability of job materials. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with electrical components/material and project management. Our projects vary in size and scope, located throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, ranging from $250k - $50M . The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and possess strong math and analytical skills.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Work closely with clients, GCs, superintendents, safety officers, field personnel, estimators, project managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with superintendents and quality control staff to manage reports, budgets, material schedules, work schedules, and equipment purchases.
- Process change order requests and related project administrative documents.
- Generate accurate and effective submittals.
- Review and prepare Operations and Maintenance manuals.
- Represent the company professionally.
- Work out of Felix's Phoenix office with frequent site visits.
WHO YOU ARE
All applicants must have a positive attitude. Experience in the water/wastewater industry, industrial, or heavy civil construction is preferred. Experience with electrical controls is a plus. Exposure to industrial electrical systems is required.
- College degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience in industrial electrical construction.
- Experience in the Water/Wastewater market is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of electrical design, installation, and procurement.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
- Strong work ethic.
