Position Overview
The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will join a dynamic clinical service specializing in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic radiology, including chest radiography, chest and cardiac CT (including coronary CTA), and thoracic and cardiovascular MR (including stress perfusion CMR).
Responsibilities
- Participate in a large lung cancer screening program and manage patients from across the Northwestern Medicine system.
- Contribute to a hospital with a significant lung transplant population.
- Engage in high-volume cardiovascular MR services, recognized internationally for excellence.
- Collaborate across disciplines including cardiology, surgery, pulmonology, and oncology.
- Contribute to educational programs, including a cardiovascular imaging fellowship and a cardiothoracic imaging fellowship.
Qualifications
- MD degree with training in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging.
- Strong motivation for academic development.
- High emotional intelligence, interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, and teamwork experience.
Additional Details
The start date is negotiable, and the position remains open until filled. The base pay range is $410,000 - $460,000, with actual compensation determined based on experience and qualifications.
