Description

The Regional Global Practice Manager is responsible for the strategic development and overall leadership of the Environmental Services Regional Global Practice. This position oversees the profitable growth of market segments within the practice, leading the business line in alignment with Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety, and outstanding service.

  • Manage sales, revenue, and profit goals for the Environmental Services Global Practice.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans, including operational, marketing, pricing, and customer retention strategies; provide industry insights regarding competition.
  • Achieve financial targets and present monthly financial reports to leadership, including budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate staff development, quality control, and resource management within regional offices.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain outstanding employee-owners; conduct performance evaluations for department staff.
  • Communicate organizational policies, goals, and purposes to department managers.
  • Ensure project execution meets or exceeds client expectations regarding quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities across disciplines for projects of all sizes, from conception to completion, collaborating with internal and external clients.
  • Lead proposal development and contract negotiations; oversee project planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and deadline management.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards, adhering to Burns & McDonnell's Quality Control and Safety programs.
  • Support diversity initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field from an accredited program, with at least 10 years of relevant consulting experience, preferably in engineering or project management.
  • Proven expertise in client and business development, project management, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Successful track record in managing budgets, savings, and profit margins.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Expertise in project management tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Project or equivalent.

Compensation

$145,000.00 - $535,000.00 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location, including base salary and potential incentive bonuses.
