Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking Finance Optimization Business Partner to drive strategic financial transformation through the integration of advanced technologies and proven process improvement methodologies. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for leveraging LEAN Six Sigma, machine learning (ML), robotic process automation (RPA), and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize financial operations, enhance decision-making, and deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership

• Act as a partner to finance, business, and IT leaders, identifying opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with broader organizational goals.
• Champion a culture of curiosity to innovate and continuously improve our ways of working within the finance function.
  
  

Technology-Driven Optimization

• Lead the design and implementation of ML, RPA, and AI solutions to automate routine finance tasks (e.g., reconciliations, forecasting, reporting).
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that can enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Integrate LEAN Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, SIPOC, root cause analysis) into technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
  
  

Data Analytics & Insights

• Translate complex data into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
• Use data-driven insights to identify and prioritize high-impact process improvement opportunities.
  
  

Project Management

• Manage end-to-end finance transformation projects, from ideation through implementation and post-deployment optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Apply Agile project management techniques to streamline execution and maximize stakeholder value.
• Facilitate workshops to engage teams in identifying and solving process inefficiencies.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a transformation or technology-focused role.
• Advanced proficiency in automation, financial, and data lake systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Power Automate, SAP Analytics Cloud, Azure).
• Strong understanding of the financial aspects of the FP&A, P2P, O2C, and R2R processes and how they can be optimized through automation and process design.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and model deployment in a business context.
• Certification in RPA or data analytics tools is a plus.
• LEAN Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) strongly preferred.
