Compensation: $260,000 - $390,000 + Performance Bonus + Full Benefits

Join an elite firm's highly sophisticated Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice in New York. This is a rare opportunity to work on complex, high-value domestic and cross-border transactions alongside leading practitioners in the field.

As part of this dynamic team, associates will represent public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, growth equity investments, carve-outs, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions across a wide range of industries. The role also includes advising on general corporate governance and strategic matters.

Key Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience handling sophisticated M&A and/or private equity transactions at a top-tier law firm.
• Deep understanding of corporate law, market terms, and deal structuring mechanics.
• Strong drafting experience across key deal documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary agreements.
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, business-minded approach with a focus on client service, autonomy, and ownership of deal responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to cultivate client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice.
