Our client is looking to fill the position of Interim Program Manager, Holocaust Survivor Program. The Interim Program Manager will oversee daily operations of the Holocaust Survivor Program, supervise program staff, and assist with program development, planning and reporting. The Holocaust Survivor Program provides holistic services to Holocaust Survivors through a person-centered-trauma-informed practice model. The Interim Program Manager will work effectively with funders, community partners, and interdepartmental programs to support healthy aging in place for Holocaust Survivors.
- Pay rate: $35 - $37
- Manage the daily operations of the Holocaust Survivors Program, serving a high volume of Holocaust Survivors.
- Provide direct supervision and support to program staff, ensuring a collaborative culture aligned with program values.
- Lead regular team meetings, individual supervision, and case conferences to ensure consistent person-centered-trauma-informed client care.
- Identify and implement efficiencies around data collection, documentation, and service tracking.
- Provide case management and supportive services, which include assisting clients with applying for benefits, housing, information and referral, end of life planning, financial assistance, supportive counseling and other services (by way of using a trauma-informed patient-centered practice model).
- Maintain timely and accurate case records in Salesforce including case notes and documentation of services provided.
- Develop and organize socialization events for clients.
- Work effectively with partner agencies as well as other organizations that provide assistance to Holocaust Survivors.
- Work with the Director of Geriatric Programs to manage financial assistance services.
- Work with the Director of Geriatric Programs on funder reports.
- Participate in weekly supervision with the Director of Geriatric Programs and monthly departmental meetings.
- Conduct community outreach and program presentations to increase awareness of program services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Relevant experience in program supervision or management, preferably in human services.
- Professional knowledge and expertise with Holocaust Survivors.
- Knowledge of person-centered-trauma-informed care and aging services/resources.
- Ethics and integrity in approach to interventions.
- Warm, empathic communication style with the ability to build trust with Holocaust Survivors and staff alike.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Planning and organizing.
- Skill and Education:
- MSW, LMSW or LCSW - SIFI eligible preferred.
- Experience with Holocaust Survivors and trauma patients.
- Bi-lingual Yiddish, Russian speaking (preferred).PC literate with working knowledge of Adobe, Salesforce, Docusign, and other software programs.
