Order Picker/Packer
Jetpack Shipping is looking for Order Picker/Packers . High volume pick, pack and ship environment. This shift runs from Monday through Thursday 8pm to 6:30am (As this position is 3rd shift, a $1.50 shift differential is applied for all hours worked) . Summary:
The Order Picker/Packer will prepare orders for shipping. They will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions. The picker/packer will check containers for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected. They will pack orders and prepare them for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Pulls and packs products based on daily orders.
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Reports any mechanical problems.
- Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred
