We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembly Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating assembly equipment, handling materials, and ensuring smooth production processes in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings and be committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.
Job Description
- Follow a defined production schedule and job-specific requirements
- Operate assembly equipment to maximize operational efficiency
- Allocate and organize materials on the production floor
- Manage finished products including boxing, labeling, and palletizing
- Set up and maintain material drying, conveying, and auxiliary equipment
- Prioritize safety in all tasks and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Report issues related to materials, maintenance, secondary operations, or quality promptly
- Complete and manage production reporting as required
- Participate in ongoing training programs
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and solid mathematical aptitude
- Team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand/walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift
- High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Shift: Day shift 6pm - 6am
- Equipment to use: manual pallet jack and electric pallet jack
