Position Overview
Location: North Attleboro, MA. Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
The Stock Material Handler - Forklift Operator is responsible for managing raw material inventory, including resin, tube, and wire, to ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution in compliance with company procedures and industry best practices. This role supports efficient kitting operations, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed to minimize waste and optimize production flow.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Cycle Counting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of resin, tube, and wire materials.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of material movement.
Material Handling & Kitting
  • Pull, stage, and kit raw materials (resin, tube, and wire) according to procedural requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials to maintain integrity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Organize inventory using FIFO practices to support efficient material usage and minimize waste.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and kitting processes.
Forklift Operations & Safety
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport resin, tube, and wire materials.
  • Load and unload raw materials, ensuring proper storage based on material type.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent material damage and workplace hazards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification required
  • Previous experience in material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to follow material handling and storage procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Work Environment
  • Warehouse and production environment with exposure to resin, tube, wire, moving equipment, and varied temperatures.
  • Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and operating forklifts for extended periods.
