Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a neurosurgical and surgical unit, requiring prior travel and teaching hospital experience.Job Details•Work in a neurosurgical and surgical Med/Surg Telemetry unit (M5),•Day shift with 12-hour shifts,•Assignment is 4 weeks in length,•Must work every other weekend during the contract,•Travelers are required to work 2 out of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day,•Uses Epic EMR system,Job Requirements•Active RN license; for Vermont, candidates may apply without current licensure but must apply for Vermont licensure within 24 hours of commitment; for New York, proof of pending NY license required,•Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a large, teaching hospital,•Prior travel nursing experience required,•Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS required prior to start),•Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required,•Reliable personal or rental vehicle required due to lack of public transportation,Additional Information•Responsible for providing care to neurosurgical and general surgery patients with telemetry monitoring,•Candidates must have reliable transportation, as public transit is not accessible in the area,•Vehicle should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April,•All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained,•Facility requires complete work history with bed count, EMR experience, and facility type details,•First-time travelers will not be considered for this assignment,),•hash,:•9144254081978640809,
