American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry PCU position caring for stroke and neurology patients with Epic experience required.Job Details•Work in a telemetry progressive care unit specializing in hospitalist medicine, stroke, and neurology patients,•Joint Commission certified primary stroke center environment,•Patient ratio is currently 1:5 on the PCU,•3x12 hour night shifts (18:45-07:15),•All travelers are expected to float within acuity as needed,•Uses Epic EMR and experience with Epic is required,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,•Prior telemetry or progressive care nursing experience strongly preferred,•Epic EMR experience required,•Candidates may not have worked as a permanent or per diem employee within the previous year at this facility,•Travelers who reside within 100 miles from the facility based on driver's license are considered local and not eligible except for outlined exceptions,•Travelers living 50-99.9 miles away may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no eligibility to extend,•Travelers living less than 50 miles away may be considered for one 13-week assignment at a lower rate with no eligibility to extend,Additional Information•Care for adult stroke and neurology patients in a neuroscience-focused environment,•Must work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, or two holidays during the winter season (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve/New Year's),•Modules and Epic orientation may be completed pre-start or during orientation,•Modules completed in the first 24 hours of onboarding are non-billable,•Team-based environment with expectations to float according to clinical experience,•First time travelers are welcome to apply,•Return travelers must have a minimum one-year break in employment before consideration; additional return restrictions may apply after July 1, 2025
