• Requirement: BLS, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) board-certification is required. Required specialty skills include Anxiety disorders, Affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, Personality disorders, Psychotic disorders, Organic disorders, Seclusion therapy, Restraint application, and Pharmacotherapy.
• Other Details: Voalte (secure internal paging system) is used for communication. In the Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit (PYTU) the average patient volume can be 8 - 12 per day. Provider will not be admitted from the Emergency Department (ED). Providers may be required to do direct admissions from the regional hospitals, coordinated through an in-house transfer center.
