Job Type Full-time, Part-timeDescriptionBenefits Include:Medical Plans with six (6) plan options for every budgetVision PlanDental PlansLife InsuranceRetirement PlanPaid-Time OffPaid CEUsFlexible HoursJob Summary:Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and administering rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.Essential FunctionsPerform and document an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis before intervention.Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or enter information into computer.Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.Administer manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.RequirementsJob Qualifications:Education:Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.Licensure:Current Texas State License in Physical Therapy, current Texas Driver's License.Experience:Two years experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting, home health preferred.Skills:Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.Transportation:Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance.Environmental and Working ConditionsWorks in a patient's home in various conditions; possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases; ability to work flexible schedule; ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.Physical and Mental Efforts:Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs and to meet patient/family individualized psycho social needsSalary Description $75,000 - $110,000 / Year
