Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Thornton, CO 80241 Assignment Duration: 16 Weeks Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (5x7.5-Hour Day Shifts)Position Overview:We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide leave-of-absence (LOA) coverage in a dynamic school setting. The therapist will work with students in pre-K through 8th grade, including those in transition programs, and will receive support from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with children and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support students' functional and academic success.Responsibilities:Deliver occupational therapy services to students as per IEP goals.Address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and school-related functional skills.Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers.Supervise and support the COTA assigned to the caseload.Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and documentation in accordance with school district standards.Qualifications:Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Colorado.Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Additional Information:COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements: Unknown (subject to facility policy).All orientation hours are billable.This role involves support for multiple educational levels with COTA assistance.
