Duties The traveler will be responsible for a range of respiratory and neuro diagnostic tasks, including: irway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation Operating and managing ventilators such as Draeger V500 and Servo U Skills We are looking for candidates with proficiency in: irway Management Devices/Suctioning Medications: Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex erosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler, Nebulizer, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Assisting in high risk delivery Umbilical blood gases, Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs Experience with Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U Charting with Cerner Preferred skills: Bronchoscopy, Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Ketamine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Theophylline Experience Applicants should meet the following requirements: 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment Current BLS certification MD State licensure ED experience preferred CLS certification preferred
