We have 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shift opportunities! Position Overview:The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and inspecting parts produced on CNC milling or turning machines. This role plays a critical part in producing high-quality components by interpreting blueprints, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring production standards are consistently met.Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills or lathes) to produce precision parts in accordance with work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements to understand critical dimensions and tolerances. Install tools, set work offsets, and verify setup prior to running production jobs. Monitor machine operation and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Adjust feeds, speeds, and tool offsets as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results. Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and keep work area clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Requirements Required Skills & Experience: Prior experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment (mills, lathes, or both). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Understanding of tool wear, material properties, and machining practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
