Position Snapshot
Setting: Inpatient Cardiovascular Anesthesia at a Level III Trauma Center
Case Mix: CABG, VALVE, TAVR, Thoracotomy, VATS, Robotic Lung, Endovascular procedures, EP Lab, DC/CV, TEE
Team: Supportive team of CRNAs (non-cardiac focus), 2 MDs + locums, with goal of 3 full-time MDs
Call: 1:3, no in-house call; weekend call is Friday Sunday, rarely called in after hours
Work Hours: Monday Friday, 7AM 4PM
EMR: EPIC
Facility: 312-bed acute care hospital with 129-acre campus; dyad leadership model (clinical + admin)
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $686,000
Incentives:
$10,000 quality bonus
$4,000 annual CME stipend
Up to $100,000 signing bonus (negotiable based on experience)
Full relocation support

Requirements
Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology
Must have cardiac experience; formal fellowship not required
Must be able to perform and interpret TEEs (pre and post)
H1B visa sponsorship available (J1 not supported)
New fellowship graduates welcome

Location Texarkana, TX
