School Bus Driver
Location: Klukwan School in Klukwan Alaska
For the school year 2025-2026 which starts September 2nd 2025 and ends May 22 2026
Qualifications:
CDL
School Bus Endorsement
Passenger Endorsement
(or ability to pass the training and test to receive CDL and endorsements. The district may be willing to pay for the training for the right candidate).
Compensation:
Hourly position up to 6 hours per day
Starting rate is $15.69 - $21.48 depending on experience
Duties to include:
Pre and Post Drive vehicle checks
Basic vehicle mainteance and cleaning
Drive Multiple times per day
Drive in winter weather including snow and rain
Safety precautions, checks and reports
Supervise students
Follow district and State rules,policies and laws
Accomodate students with special needs
Ability to pass a background check and driving record check
Ability to communicate well
Ability to use computer and email for reports, communication, and time keeping records
