Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm - Work may occur outside of these hours.
About the Role:
As a Flex Property Claim Representative, you'll play a key role in delivering on our promise to be there when policyholders need us most. This hybrid role combines in-person field investigations with remote claim handling, allowing you to manage a variety of property claims across personal and commercial lines. You'll be responsible for guiding customers through the claim process with clarity, accuracy, and care-ensuring fair outcomes and upholding our standards for service and integrity.
What You'll Do:
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve minor to moderate property claims in accordance with policy terms and applicable laws.
  • Manage a caseload involving both field and inside claims, balancing efficiency with empathetic service.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with policyholders, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Determine and apply coverage, assess damages, and negotiate settlements that are equitable and timely.
  • Identify salvage and subrogation opportunities and collaborate with appropriate parties to pursue them.
  • Ensure files are accurately documented and reserves are set appropriately.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Loss Control, Underwriting, and Marketing as needed.
  • Engage with outside vendors including adjusters, contractors, and investigative units.
  • Maintain and update applicable state adjuster licenses and continuing education requirements.
Additional Role Highlights:
  • May act as a technical resource for less experienced team members.

  • Plays a key role in maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Previous property claims handling experience, ideally with field exposure.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage sensitive interactions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in both independent and team-based settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.
  • Active or eligible state adjuster licenses (multi-state preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
